In Loving Memory of Chris Moore

Lilian Moore is raising money for The National Brain Appeal
In memory of Chris Moore
There are 14.7million people – that’s more than one in six – in the UK living with a neurological condition. Here at the country's leading neurological centre, we’re passionate about supporting the hospital to help improve the lives of patients through treatment and research.

Story

Chris Moore sadly passed away on 31st January 2025 from end stage Frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Its a rare and progressive brain disease that affects language and speech, there is no cure.

The National Brain Appeal raises funds for The National Hospital to improve the lives of neurology patients through treatment and research. As Chris slowly lost his words and later his memories, this wonderful charity supported our family in getting him the specialist care he needed. They were there for us when we didn't know how to help him.

Instead of saying goodbye with flowers we want to celebrate Chris' life by raising awareness of support for FTD. One in six of us are affected by neurological conditions.
