I've just returned from climbing Mt Snowdon with over 60 wonderful Wigan & Leigh Hospice supporters.

We set off at 11.40pm and arrived to set off walking at 2am!

The weather was not kind. At all. We're talking 50mph winds and driving rain from what felt like every angle!

However that didn't put us off.

Myself and the lead group reached the summit in 3hrs 30 minutes, which was a great time considering the conditions!

We then made our way back as dawn rose through the mist and murk of the mountains!

I'm really proud of everyone who took part. It was a very challenging trek but they did it!

As an aside, I've walked over 32,000 steps since 2am. Its now 2.30pm!
