Story
Christopher Tween died from SUDEP in August 2019, just before he was due to begin his studies toward a degree in Psychology at the University of Sussex.
The Christopher Tween Foundation and SUDEP Action are working together to raise vital awareness of SUDEP (Sudden Unexpected Death in Epilepsy) and epilepsy risk as part of the SUDEP Action Prevent21 campaign. With at least 21 people dying each week from epilepsy in the UK (a majority under the age of 35) the Prevent21 campaign aims to reduce deaths from epilepsy and ensure that critical and potentially lifesaving knowledge and awareness of risk and management of risk are brought to the attention of hundreds and thousands of people.
SUDEP Action is a small national charity which aspires to stop unnecessary deaths from epilepsy and support those who have been bereaved by epilepsy.
