Virtual cycle from Lands End to John O'Groats

Stirling Street Pastors are members of local churches who volunteer their time to care, listen and help on the streets of Stirling on Friday and Saturday nights from 10pm-4am. We work closely with the Police and local Council to make the streets safer at night for all.

At the end of January, I decided that I would set myself a goal to cycle the length of Britain from Land’s End to John O’Groats (872 miles) before the end of this year. I started logging my miles on my bike and exercise bike using the End to End website.

As some of you might know I had a heart attack on March 1st which resulted in a quadruple heart bypass operation on the 12th March. Unfortunately after 160 miles I had to suspend the challenge.

However, as part of my recuperation I decided to re-start the challenge on the 12th April. I’m pleased to report I’ve now reached Scotland and my goal is to finish the challenge the challenge by the end of the year.

If you would like to encourage me you can sponsor me. I will donate any proceeds to Stirling Street Pastors, a charity which I chair.

All donations will be matched so if you decide to donate your donation will be doubled.
