Story

In memory of Chris Clements ( Clem ) this page has been set up to raise funds for a memory leaf at Attenborough Nature Reserve.

As part of Broxtowe Borough Council Street Cleansing Team, Chris and his colleagues worked hard to keep the reserve clean and tidy. Myself and my dog Molly and all the early morning walkers knew Chris, he always had time to chat about life, particularly through the pandemic. He was fun with a huge sense of humour and he was kind. Chris kept dog treats in his van which soon became common knowledge to all the local dogs that ran to greet him.

On the 29th May 2023, Chris sadly passed away whilst working close to the reserve. He is much missed. With the blessing of his wife Jan, sister Debby and family, I thought how lovely it would be to have a memory leaf at the reserve to remember him, for the walkers and visitors, his colleagues and most importantly, his family.

Please donate what you can.

Lucy.
