Chris' Dirty Reiver challenge · 26 April 2025

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

As part of Sage Foundation’s partnership with CVYP, we're delighted to support their fundraising campaign to expand the unique Chirdon Head Outdoor Centre in Kielder Forest. Our goal is to raise at least £15,000 to make a significant impact on the next phase of their expansion.

The Cramlington Voluntary Youth Project (CVYP) plays a vital role in supporting the social and personal development of young people aged 8 to 25 years, including those with disabilities. They offer recreational and outdoor activities, accredited schemes like the Duke of Edinburgh Award, and provide guidance and support in a safe and friendly environment.

I will be joining colleagues from Sage to take on the "Dirty Reiver" challenge, one of Europe’s biggest and toughest gravel cycling events, with courses ranging from 65km to 200km. We'll be testing our endurance, cycling offroad, climbing significant elevation and spending several hours in the saddle, raising money for a worthy cause.
