Story
On March 19th 2026 I will be spending the night on the floor of Peterborough Cathedral to take part in 'A Night in the Nave', a sleep out raising awareness and funds to address homlessness in Peterborough. I may also gain some insight into issues involved with living on the street.
A Night in the Nave will help the Light Project Peterborough (LPP) who support those homeless and in need within the City. Between October 2024 - September 2025, LPP supported 989 people at the Garden House, helped 576 to move off the streets and into accommodation, and had 495 new people come through their doors. LPP also run other projects including Homeless Health Hub, Homeless Health Peer Advocacy, Street Chaplaincy, Peterborough Night Shelter, and Across Peterborough.
Thank you for taking time to read this. Please support me if you can. Any contribution would be hugely appreciated and will help make a difference.
