Christian's fundraiser for Ambitious about Autism

London Marathon 2025 · 27 April 2025 ·
Thanks for visiting my fundraising page! I'll be running the London marathon 2025 for a charity that has real significance for my family.
When our little Vinnie turned 2 years old, we were told that he was showing very early signs of potential autism. This was just before we moved to Paris for my work. The next year was tough. We struggled with Vinnie's behavior, his development, and his social interactions. We tried nursery in Paris, but that turned disastrous very quickly. We felt very isolated in a foreign country with very few friends and no family. The support offered for kids like Vinnie was practically non-existent. The only real resource we had at the time were charities like Ambitious about Autism. The information and guidance they have on their website provided us with some understanding about what was going on with Vin, and things we could do to try and help him. This was invaluable in a time where we really had next to no help.
We have since moved back to the UK, and Vinnie is getting the help and support that he needs. This is why I want to give my help and support to other children and families that go through similar experiences.
