Story

Please support My 2025 London Marathon Journey for Ataxia UK!

I’m thrilled to be running the 2025 London Marathon in support of Ataxia UK, a charity dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by ataxia, a rare neurological condition that impacts coordination and balance.

Ataxia can have a profound effect on daily life, and Ataxia UK is committed to funding vital research, providing support services, and raising awareness about this condition. Every contribution helps them provide resources and support to those living with ataxia and their families.

Friedreich's ataxia affects approximately 1 in 50,000 people. It is a rare genetic disorder that typically manifests in childhood or early adulthood, leading to progressive loss of coordination and other neurological issues. While it’s not extremely common, awareness and support for those affected are crucial.

I’m aiming to raise as much money as possible to help this incredible cause that is extremely close to my heart. Your support means the world to me and to those impacted by ataxia. Together, we can make a difference! This could turning out to be my final Marathon attempt, lets go out with a BANG!!!

Together, we can turn our compassion into action and make a difference in the lives of those who need it most.

Thank you for your generosity and encouragement and for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Many Thanks,

Christian
