Fundraising for Action for Children
Story
In May 2024, I'm taking part in the Arcadis London to Amsterdam cycle, in support Action for Children!
This 3 day, 500km challenge across three countries won't be easy, but we'll be taking on the challenge to support Action for Children. This wonderful charity protects and supports children and young people, providing practical and emotional care and support. Did you know Action for Children has 45 children’s homes across the UK? That is additional to the 55 children’s centres and 46 nurseries they run across England.
Children go into the care system for lots of reasons. Most commonly it’s because they’re abused or neglected. Some children are victims of domestic abuse or have parents with mental health issues.
