I will be running my first ever marathon on Sunday 27th April 2025. From someone who had never run more the 5k this time last year, I have since completed a 10k and the Brighton Half Marathon!

Training has been extremely difficult, suffering with injury and being poorly more recently but I have already exceeded my expectations and anything from now on is a bonus.

Although I have a ballot place, I have made the last minute decision to try and raise a little bit of money for a good cause.

COPS provides peer support opportunities and access to counselling services to help surviving family members (‘survivors’) rebuild their shattered lives.

Since its foundation in 2003, COPS has helped hundreds of police families devastated by the loss of a loved one who died on duty.

With 10 years service in the Police, this is a charity that runs close to me and any support that can be given, will go a long way.
