In March 2024, B&L achieved a remarkable feat by securing 2nd place in the Second Section at the Scottish Brass Band Championships in Perth. We were overjoyed when our talented Soprano Cornet player was recognised as the Best Instrumentalist in our section! This outstanding achievement has presented Broxburn & Livingston Band with an incredible opportunity to represent Scotland at the 2nd Section Finals of the National Brass Band Championships of Great Britain, which will be held at Cheltenham Racecourse in September 2024.

To support the band I have decided to run the distance from Broxburn to Cheltenham and back (565 miles / 910 km) over the next six months between the Scottish Brass Band Championships (9th - 10th March 2024) and the National Finals (14th - 15th September 2024). I will post regular updates to keep you up-to-date with my progress!

The total cost is estimated to be over £10,000. However, every contribution counts, no matter how big or small. Your generosity will not only help us achieve our goal but also enable us to showcase our talent on a national stage. Together, let's make this musical adventure one for the books!
