Story
We are raising money for Aspire, a spinal injury charity, very close to my heart. When I was 5 years old, I was involved in a car accident which led to permanent paralysis from the waist down. Aspire has a state of the art, fully accessible fitness centre. It was the first fully accessible leisure centre of its kind to open in Europe for both disabled and non-disabled people. Aspire can help make you feel completely independent, something that doesn’t come easy to many disabled people. Aspire also pride themselves in fundraising to help provide fully accessible temporary housing and help disabled people get back to work by offering training using unique, ground breaking technology.
Aspire changed my life and is still changing the lives of thousands more. Independence is the best gift you can give to anyone who struggles to find it.
