We are raising money for Aspire, a spinal injury charity, based in London. The reason we chose Aspire, is because it massively helped one of our members after having suffered permanent paralysis from a car accident, aged 5. Aspire gave our Fit Factory member, Lerona, the freedom of independence.

Aspire was the first fully accessible leisure centre of its kind to open in Europe for both disabled and non-disabled people. Aspire helps disabled people feel completely independent, something that doesn’t come easy with a life changing injury. Aspire also pride themselves in fundraising to help provide fully accessible temporary housing and help disabled people get back to work by offering training using unique, ground breaking technology.

Aspire changed Lerona’s life and is still changing the lives of thousands more like her. Independence is the best gift you can give to anyone who struggles to find it.

The Fit Factory gym in Cockfosters opened at the end of 2020 and has been serving the community since. It is a family run business, owned by brothers, Chris and Andreas Evangelou. They have brought the community together, and make working out, not only body changing, but sociable as well! Choose from their many talented and diverse PTs or attend one of their many unique classes.
