Story

I am thrilled to announce that I will be participating in the London Marathon 2026 to raise funds for Spinal Research!

Every year, an estimated 105,000 individuals in the UK face the challenges of living with a Spinal Cord Injury (SCI). These injuries transform lives, creating a stark division between 'before' and 'after.' Beyond the loss of movement, those affected endure lifelong consequences from infections and chronic pain, to autonomic dysfunction and loss of bladder and bowel control. Current treatments largely focus on managing these complications, but rarely on reversing the underlying damage.

Spinal Research stands at the forefront of this battle as the UK's leading medical charity dedicated to funding innovative research aimed at repairing and restoring spinal cord function. Importantly, they do not receive governmental funding; every project relies solely on generous donations from supporters like you.

Thank you for taking the time to read, support, and donate!Together, we can help fund groundbreaking research that moves us beyond mere management towards true recovery for those affected by spinal cord injuries. My target is to raise £1,800 for this cause. Your support can make a significant difference in the lives of many who dream of a future free from paralysis.

With your help, we can #CureParalysis.
