This September, I’m proud to be running the Great North Run for Durham Cricket Foundation – not just for the challenge but for the children. Every week the Foundation brings cricket-themed games and activities onto the wards of the Great North Children’s Hospital. For kids going through tough treatment, these sessions bring joy, distraction and a bit of normality.
