Every day, housing professionals work alongside people and communities to tackle some of life's most complex challenges. They use their expertise, judgement and compassion to make a real and lasting difference that extends far beyond bricks and mortar.

My CIH presidential campaign, Behind Every Home, shines a spotlight on the people behind the profession, sharing stories that celebrate their skill, dedication and impact.

Alongside my campaign, I'm proud to be fundraising for Social Bite. Ending homelessness is a shared ambition across the housing profession, and Social Bite helps people who are experiencing homelessness access food, homes and jobs. What started as one café built on the ethos of paying it forward is now a national social enterprise, and a prime example of the people and professionalism behind every home.

I'm excited to work with Social Bite over the next year and am grateful to everyone who donates to help them continue their important work across the country.
