Their positive focus is on the individual, not the condition. Connection with nature has positive health benefits and can even slow down the progression of dementia symptoms. Through their holidays, training and research, they remove barriers, improve confidence, and increase opportunities for people to stay active, keep connected to family and friends, and retain a sense of adventure in their lives.

Big Green Picnic

Right at Home Aylesbury Vale and Chiltern is hosting an outdoor picnic event in Wendover on 22nd July to raise awareness and funds for the amazing work that Dementia Adventure does. It will be a wonderful opportunity for the local community to meet and share food, conversation, create memories and make valuable connections.

Part of a nationwide network of over 80 domiciliary care agencies, Right at Home Aylesbury Vale and Chiltern is in its sixth year and during that time has supported many clients living with dementia. Our staff understand the importance of familiarity and continuity, getting to know the person as an individual and helping them to stay connected to their community wherever possible. Our aim is to improve their quality of life and give peace of mind to family and friends.
