Freddie and his Mummy are running the Omagh 5k in support of Action for Children!

Action for Children is a huge part of the community in Omagh and the surrounding area. They provide life changing support to its residents when they are in the midst of a crisis or facing ongoing poverty. They work with families gives children the best start in life and also support local young people with their mental health and keep young people in the area safe when they are at risk of becoming homeless.

Funds raised through the Omagh Half Marathon will be ring‑fenced for use in the local area and directed to the services delivered from the Omagh and Enniskillen teams, supporting direct service delivery such as Early Intervention family support, one‑to‑one work, parenting workshops, the Holmview drop‑in, Floating Support for 16–25 year‑olds, participation and wellbeing activities, and the Enniskillen supported accommodation service.
