Story
This year, me and Katie are running the Great North Run in memory of my dad. We are running to raise funds for St. Catherine’s Hospice in Scarborough, who provided incredible care and support for him during his illness.
Saint Catherine's provide care to people across a 1,600 square mile area in our local community and need to raise £11,200 every single day, £6.1million a year, to provide their care free of charge to those who need it.
Running this half marathon is not only a personal challenge for us but also a way to give back to the team that showed our family so much love and support. Every donation, no matter how small, will make a real difference to the care St. Catherine’s can provide to families like ours.
We’d be so grateful for your support in helping us reach our fundraising goal and honoring the memory of my dad."1
Thank you to everyone who donates to our fundraising page, together we can make a real difference for those in our area living with a life limiting condition.
