Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon 2025 · 11 May 2025 ·

Story

Clan Gough is taking on the Rob Burrow Leeds Marathon on 11 May 2025. Richard Green and I will be pushing my dad, Andrew Gough, around the 26.2 mile course in a Delta Run Assisted Wheelchair supplied by Delichon Limited and kindly donated by GFS Limited based in Hull. Andrew was diagnosed with Primary Lateral Sclerosis (PLS), a rare form of Motor Neurone Disease (MND), last year and we have taken inspiration from Rob Burrow and Kevin Sinfield to take on the challenge of the Leeds Marathon and the hills of Otley. This will also be our first marathon!

In memory of Rob Burrow and his iconic shirt number, 7, we have set an ambitious target of £7,777. Every penny raised will help support those affected by MND and fund critical research to find a cure.

Please join us in making a difference—every donation, big or small, helps us get closer to the finish line and closer to a world without MND. Thank you for your support!
