On Saturday 16th May I am taking on the Mid & South Essex Hospitals Charity Abseil! I will be abseiling down the iconic Southend hospital Tower Block to raise funds for the Neptune Pediatric ward.

Last year, my youngest daughter Penelope became extremely unwell was admitted to the Neptune ward at Southend Hospital with Sepsis. It was a really difficult and worrying time for our family, but the care we received at the hospital made such a difference.

The staff were kind, patient, and always there when we needed them. They looked after Penny with such compassion and helped us feel supported during a very stressful time.

I’m fundraising to give something back and to help them continue the amazing work they do for other families going through similar experiences.
