I am proud to say I will be running the Great North Run in aid of Ashgate Hospice. I will be running in memory of my wonderful mother in law, Diane, who sadly passed away last year. Her strength and resilience was a continued inspiration to us all and I hope to honour her with each mile.

Running the Great North Run has been on my bucket list, since starting running in 2022. I hope to make 2026 a year to remember, as I celebrate my 60th birthday, and take on this iconic challenge, all whilst raising vital funds for Ashgate Hospice.

Ashgate provides wonderful support and specialist palliative care to the people of North Derbyshire. Due to a lack of sustainable funding, they cannot do this without the help and support of volunteers and fundraising from the community. Please support me in reaching my target. Every pound donated helps this amazing place continue their vital work.
