Thank you so much for taking some time out of your day and placing your interest in our fundraiser for the fantastic charity, Don't Lose Hope.
Don't Lose Hope is a charity that dedicates professional counselling across the community of Lincolnshire from the very young age of four and upwards. The charity itself houses professional counsellors that provide a range of experience dealing with various issues such as anxiety, depression, bereavement and much, much more. They provide this care through person centred or cognitive therapy within their centre in the town of Bourne, Lincolnshire.
Don't Lose Hope Café, Garden and Shop
Along with their fantastic counselling service, Don't Lose Hope also supports mental health through their café and shop situated on Bourne's high street. Here, the café is a great place to come and share time with friends and family, plus there is always someone to talk to. The shop provides one of the charity's therapy rooms and a creative art studio offering a wide range of activities. The garden is situated in Wellhead park within Bourne. Here is where the community garden workshop/shed is located and is a great place to find some space to get away from it all, learn new skills and share experiences with others.
The Task at Hand
A team of six of us from Prince William of Gloucester Barracks are going to attempt the famous National Three Peaks Challenge within 24 hours, starting with Ben Nevis in Scotland, then Scafell Pike in England, then finish it off with Snowden in Wales. We will be travelling up to Scotland on the 14th of September 2023 and starting the challenge at first light on the 15th of September.
