Story
192 miles across the north of England from St. Bees on one coast to Robins hoods bay on the other coast. Through National parks and rolling hill sides. Through the sun and (hopefully not a lot of) rain.... Sounds easy enough...
What better way to spend our 35 birthdays than to try this amazing walk and raise some money for some thing I hold dear and want to help. The Marine Conservation Society.
They do amazing work around the UK to help keep our beaches and water clean for everyone.
- £5 could purchase a litter picker for use by our Beachwatch volunteers to clean litter from our beaches.
- £8 could support five primary school children to learn about the ocean in class, increasing ocean literacy and inspiring them to make ocean friendly choices.
- £10 could grow a dozen baby oysters to restore our shores and filter our oceans.
- £20 could collect 1KG of litter from UK beaches, making them cleaner and safer places for everyone to enjoy.
- £30 could enable us to travel to Parliamentarian meetings to be a Voice for the Ocean within Government, influencing the laws that protect our ocean.
Please help support a great charity and to help motivate me put another foot in front of the other!
You will be able to follow our journey on instagram and see the sites of 3 national parks and everything the countrysides have to offer. Come rain or shine!
