The Cosy Bike & Hike is back for 2026 — and this year it's bigger than ever!

On Saturday 16 May 2026, 30 Cosy team members will be lacing up their boots and clipping into their pedals, and many more are working behind the scenes planning and volunteering on the day. Nearly 40% of our workforce got involved last year — a real reflection of the spirit at Cosy.

New for 2026, we've added a shorter 13-mile Amble option, making the event more accessible than ever. Whether you're cycling to the coast, hiking the full Bonnie Prince Charlie route to Ashbourne, or taking on the shorter walk through the Derbyshire countryside — every mile counts.

Since SkegVegas100 began back in 2013, this event has raised over £150,000 for local children's charities. Last year's Bike & Hike saw over 200 fundraisers come together, and we're aiming to go even further in 2026.

Every penny raised will support much-needed holidays for young children from Derby and Derbyshire who face significant challenges in their day-to-day lives — from poverty and bereavement to caring responsibilities and social difficulties. For many of these children, it will be the only holiday they receive all year.
