7 in 7 : Reloaded · 26 September 2023 ·

Take on your own 7 in 7 challenge and help fund vital research, care and support for families affected by motor neurone disease.

Story

I'm completing the 7 in 7 challenge. Seven miles in seven consecutive days to raise money to support families that are living with MND. Your support will make a difference.

My Partner, Daniel Brocklebank, is currently playing out the MND storyline as Billy Mayhew in Coronation Street. Billy is currently losing his partner Paul (Peter Ash) to MND.

Daniel has been involved with the MND Association for over 20 years after losing his Grandfather to the disease. Seeing how much this charity means to Daniel and how passionate he and Peter are portraying this difficult storyline, they have both been an inspiration.

Naturally my reasoning is to support my partner, Daniel and his family, however, I want to raise awareness. Prior to meeting Dan and Coronation Street highlighting MND, I had never heard of the disease, nor was I educated. Attending fundraisers and hearing the stories of those living with MND, I simply want to do my bit to help.

Whether you can donate £7, £77 or £777, every penny counts in the fight against MND. The money raised will provide care and support for people living with, and affected by MND. It will also fund vital research to help better understand the disease and bring us closer to finding a cure.

Thank you for your support.
