This May, ten incredibly brave individuals will be taking on a two-day trek in Kalamata to raise vital funds for St Catherine’s Hospice, West Sussex. The hospice provides expert, compassionate care to those who need it most during the most challenging times.

The event will be hosted by Grecotel’s Sales & Marketing Strategy Director, Kostas Sinis, alongside Aspire’s UK Account Director, Toni Austin.

The Challenge:

Day 1 – Conquer Ridomo Gorge

Set within the Taygetos mountain range, Ridomo Gorge is a striking natural wonder. The trail descends from Vorio village, guiding hikers across rocky terrain, over boulders and through gentle streams. At its most dramatic point, the path narrows into a corridor framed by towering vertical rock walls.

Day 2 – Hike Mount Taygetos

One of Europe’s oldest named mountains and the highest peak in the Peloponnese, Mount Taygetos offers a truly memorable challenge. Once a training ground for legendary Spartan warriors, the route winds through alpine meadows and rugged mountain paths, culminating at an impressive 2,407 metres above sea level.
