We are a group of housemates and old friends hosting a Clothes Swap Fundraiser from 10am - 1pm on Saturday 4th November in West Hampstead.

WHO FOR?

Our local garden centre. It's a social enterprise garden centre that provides training opportunities to people with a learning disability.

WHY?

At the beginning of September, our local garden centre suffered a break-in. Amongst the items taken were essential tools that facilitated the training they provide.

HOW IT WORKS?

1. DM us for our address.

2. £5 entry (all proceeds go to the Mill Lane Garden Centre Charity)

3. Bring a bag of old clothes to swap for some shiny new ones!

Help me support the rebuild of Mill Lane Garden Centre so more people with a learning disability can be supported with employment training, horticulture certifications, and health and wellbeing development.

In 1992 a group of people built a building. 31 years later, this building has nurtured people with a learning disability through training and certifications, and it has provided the foundation for a successful non-profit garden centre. To say this building has served its purpose is an understatement, but we have not finished serving our purpose. We are not ready to stop supporting people with a learning disability through training for employment, we’re not ready to let our building limit the support we provide, and we’re not ready to stop being the local favourite Christmas tree market.

It is with both a heavy heart and excitement for the future, that we have decided to rebuild Mill Lane Garden Centre, and we want you to be a part of this remarkable journey.
