Story
A cycle ride of 55 miles is planned, with riders from Cranham and from Stroud Valleys Cycling Club. Starting in Cranham, it will visit 10 local churches (including Tewkesbury Abbey) during the day, ending at St James the Great in Cranham.
Cranham Church has incurred significant expenditure in the past few years, with general maintenance to the roof, bells and heating, and with two major restoration projects to the organ and the altarpiece. Some, but not all, of these costs have been covered by legacies and grants, including generous donations from Gloucestershire Historic Churches Trust.
The aim of this cycle ride is to raise money to be shared equally between GHCT and Cranham Church.
