DISCREETLY SUPPORTING THOSE WHO SERVE FROM THE SHADOWS.
Phil, Andrew, Conor and Ben will be taking on the Trident (the SBSA triathlon) on Saturday 6th September to raise funds for the Special Boat Service Association.
The Association provides critical support to its Members and their dependants, delivering excellence in duty of care commensurate with the risk and rigour expected from those who defend the Nation on the front line.
The Trident is an endurance event developed by former Special Forces Operators and Royal Marines Commandos, combining three disciplines to represent the prongs of the trident spear, to test both mental and physical resilience:
The course starts with a ship-to-shore sea swim of approximately 1.5km inland towards the Jurassic Coast
An assault style cliff run follows, where participants will be tasked to track distinctive landmarks across a 14km route with several ascents and descents and an elevation gain of 600 metres
The 30km cycle course starts with a demanding climb on to country roads notorious for sudden uphill climbs…
All funds raised will be donated to The Association whose commitment to all past, present and future members and their dependants ensures a lifetime of support where necessary.
And all donations hugely appreciated!
Thank you
