Welcome to the Fortinet Channel Q4 2024 Charity Just Giving Page! This year the Channel Team have decided to work with Sands for our annual Charity!

Story

Fortinet 2024 Cycling Challenge

From 11-13 October 20 cyclists will be riding for 3 consecutive days from Reading to Burford, Burford to Devizes, and Devizes back to Reading to raise money for Sands.

The majority will be tackling 100 miles per day, with 50 and 75 mile options for the less experienced riders. Whilst traversing some beautiful countryside, the team will have to negotiate some tough climbs, avoid numerous pot holes and no doubt endure some changeable weather along the way - it will be tough!

About Sands

Sands work to support anyone affected by pregnancy loss or the death of a baby.

Sands operates across the UK and Ireland: supporting anyone affected by the death of a baby; working in partnership with health professionals to ensure that bereaved parents and families receive the best possible care; and promoting improvements in practice and funding research that could help to reduce the loss of babies’ lives. Sands depends on the amazing energies of our supporters to raise the vital funds that they need to deliver the wide range of services that they offer.

They save babies' lives by amplifying the voices of bereaved families and healthcare professionals, campaigning for change in policy and practice, and funding research to understand why babies die.

They carry out vital work to improve maternity safety through targeted research, campaigning for change, working with government and reducing inequalities in healthcare to save babies' lives.
