Darryl – AKA The Proper Doctor

Joining us halfway through the ride is Darryl – Stefan’s mate, wine enthusiast, and frequent reminder that he’s actually a proper doctor. While his wife’s off doing triathlons and showing us all up on the fitness front, Darryl’s focusing on the more important things: beer, wine, darts (if there’s a board), and catching up with the group. We’re looking forward to meeting him – and he’s looking forward to some great company, a few laughs, and probably proving that Stefan definitely isn’t the only one with a decent one-liner.

Balloons is a small charity that works alongside families and professionals to support bereaved children and young people in our area when someone significant in their lives dies.

Every time we pick up the telephone, we take a new referral, we meet a bereaved child for the first time, and we visit a grieving family – we know it matters and we know it makes a difference.
