Mike – AKA The Sporty One

Mike’s always loved sport – and he’s still out here doing it all. Whether it’s cycling, football, rugby or even a spot of Boxercise, he’s usually in the thick of it. That said, watching it from the comfort of the sofa is becoming increasingly common these days (and who can blame him – he’s got a lovely one). When he’s not on the move, he’s making the most of his time with family and friends – the perfect balance of energy and easy-going fun. He’s looking forward to another year of dodging climbs and racing to the café stop.

Balloons is a small charity that works alongside families and professionals to support bereaved children and young people in our area when someone significant in their lives dies.

Every time we pick up the telephone, we take a new referral, we meet a bereaved child for the first time, and we visit a grieving family – we know it matters and we know it makes a difference.
