Stewart – AKA The Welsh Whisk

Proudly Welsh and a top-class head chef, Stewart brings both flavour and fire to the ride. When he’s not in the kitchen, he’s out training hard and getting the miles in ahead of this year’s challenge. Determined to keep things simple, he’s planning on bringing just one phone – which, let’s be honest, is more self-discipline than most of us can manage! He’s looking forward to the ride, the scenery, and maybe a few well-earned post-cycling snacks (prepared by someone else for a change).

Balloons is a small charity that works alongside families and professionals to support bereaved children and young people in our area when someone significant in their lives dies.

Every time we pick up the telephone, we take a new referral, we meet a bereaved child for the first time, and we visit a grieving family – we know it matters and we know it makes a difference.
