Story

I am finally running the London Marathon this year. After years of entering and not getting in, this is my year! I will be running to raise money for Nightingale House Hospice. This is where my big brother Jamie spent his last days and they cared for him so wonderfully. They are a charity close to my family's hearts ,so any donation we would be so grateful for. Thank You.

For over 25 years staff here at Nightingale House Hospice have created an environment that gives patients and their loved ones quality time to spend together. Not having to worry about the care a loved one receives, knowing they are in safe hands means every second spent together is dignified and peaceful. Without support such as yours, our specialist palliative care units wouldn’t be able to deliver such high standards.

About the charity

Nightingale House offers a wide range of facilities to local people and their families living with life-limiting illness. Patients come from Wrexham, Flintshire, Denbighshire and outlying areas. In 2024 it will cost £4,900,513 million to run the Hospice - this equates to nearly £13,389 per day.
