Why I am raising money for GOSH:

Admittedly, I signed up for this Marathon without Charity in mind.

Coming off the back of the 2024 Budapest Marathon, having led a massive fundraiser group to raise £1000s for Marie Curie, I was set on completing this marathon mainly for my own personal goals.

However, since joining Whitbread in September, who have a very close relationship with the Great Ormund Street Hospital, I have seen how their work changes the lives of seriously ill children, every single day.

For those who don't know GOSH are dedicated to treat seriously ill children (78,000 per year!), providing some of the best care in the world to give every child a chance to live a full, healthy life.

GOSH is the UK’s largest paediatric centre for many services, including heart problems, brain surgery and gene therapy, and is an international centre of excellence in child healthcare.

With this in mind, I thought why not use this incredible challenge to help support GOSH?

With your donations, you can help fund this crucial organisation. Your money will be used to pay the expert staff, fund research to fight rare and complex illnesses, alongside paying for specialist equipment such as incubators, specialist beds & sensory projectors, all of which provide relief to children & families going through extremely difficult circumstances.

Although this won't be my first time running a marathon, it will certainly be a challenge.

I've decided to set a goal to raise £262, which is £10 per mile. Any contributions towards this target will be massively appreciated, so thank you in advance.
