Dairine's fundraiser for The Jo Cox Foundation

The Jo Cox Way 2024 · 24 July 2024 to 28 July 2024 ·
Eight years ago, Jo Cox MP was murdered.
This year she would have been 50.
Next month, I’ll be cycling 288 miles from Yorkshire to London to raise funds for The Jo Cox Foundation, and raise awareness of Jo’s belief that we have ‘more in common than that which divides us’.
It’s involved lots of training, and it won’t be easy, but anything you can donate would really help. There are a few significant hills…..
And read more about the Jo Cox Foundation here; https://www.jocoxfoundation.org/ Cox was a passionate campaigner, activist and humanitarian; a proud Yorkshire lass and internationalist; and a devoted mum, daughter, sister, wife, friend and MP.
I'm taking part in the Jo Cox Way because - like Jo herself - I believe that we have more in common than that which divides us.
In July I'll join a group of over 80 riders as we cycle nearly 300 miles from Jo's constituency in West Yorkshire to London. Over five days, this group - from a range of different backgrounds and different cycling abilities - will really bring Jo's more in common message to life.
The Jo Cox Foundation is a small charity with a big impact. So please give what you can to help them to achieve even more change in Jo's memory.
