On 25th May 2025 I'll be taking part in Devon's biggest race, to support my local hospice service!

The Great West Run is a gruelling 13.1 mile half marathon, taking in a challenging course across Exeter city, and I'm raising funds to show my support for Sidmouth Hospice at Home and their amazing patients.

The charity funds a team of 12 specialist palliative care nurses that provide free end of life care to patients at home, rather than in a hospice or hospital ward setting, along with compassionate support for their family members too.

They are entirely funded by donations alone, and whilst the 'Sidmouth Model' is considered to represent excellent value and an exemplary service, in the next year it will cost more than £900k to care for those in need in their Sid Valley community.

The demand for their care continues to grow, and with it the need for support. Every donation makes a difference. Thank you so much!
