Story

Hello! my name is Daniel Jones and this just giving page is for you for donation to raise funds so I can attend the World Scout Jamboree in 2027. I have been selected to represent Suffolk at a massive scout camp in Poland with a unit of just 30 other young people. However, as participants we are required to raise our own funds for the event, so I come to you hoping for a charitable act help me along this fund-raising journey. By donating to me you would be a massive help and would lighten the load of this great task. To take part, I must raise £3,500 to cover travel, accommodation, food, activities, ect.

Your donation would allow me, a 16-year-old boy who likes camping, Dr who and archery go on the journey of a lifetime into Poland to do action packed activities with others like me from across the world.

Thank you!

If you are a UK taxpayer, the government will give us an extra 25p for every £1 you donate, so please tick the gift aid box if you can.

All funds raised through this page go directly to Suffolk County Scout Council’s World Scout Jamboree Fund. This fund supports the participation of our Suffolk Unit and contributes to the wider international Scouting movement, including helping to subsidise places for Scouts from less affluent parts of the world.

Should for any reason this event not take place or a member cannot attend, then the funds raised will be held by the trustees of Suffolk County Scout Council, to be used at their discretion to support members of Suffolk Scouts attending similar scouting events according to the Suffolk Scouts Fundraising Policy.

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.
