Scouting offers challenge and adventure to over 5700 young people aged 4-25 in Suffolk alone (Jan-2026). We believe in helping our members fulfill their potential by working in teams, learning by doing and thinking for themselves. We're working to make Scouting available to all and we're passionate about what we do. The aim of Scouting is to develop young people to their full physical, intellectual, social and spiritual potential. Scouts should be able to learn new skills by taking part in fun and exciting activities in the air, on land or in water. Through the adventure of Scouting, the young people get to take risks in a safe environment, and have their first taste of responsibility. We aim to give young people experiences they'll never forget!

Story

These 36 young people will be carrying out fundraising activities and tasks over the next 18 months in order to raise the funds they need to attend the Jamboree and acquire any kit they need.

If you are a UK taxpayer, the government will give us an extra 25p for every £1 you donate. This means a £20 donation becomes £25, helping us reach our target. Please tick the Gift Aid box if you can.

All funds raised through this page go directly to Suffolk County Scout Council’s World Scout Jamboree Fund. This fund supports the participation of our Suffolk Unit and contributes to the wider international Scouting movement, including helping to subsidise places for Scouts from less affluent parts of the world.

Should for any reason this event not take place or a member cannot attend, then the funds raised will be held by the trustees of Suffolk County Scout Council, to be used at their discretion to support members of Suffolk Scouts attending similar scouting events according to the Suffolk Scouts Fundraising Policy.
