Story
Hi everyone, thanks for clicking and expressing interest in supporting my ‘Winter Sleepout’ for LCM this Saturday.
The ‘Winter Sleepout’ is in inverted commas as I’m planning to work an Emergency Department night shift in East London where I’ll likely encounter many people who would benefit from the kind of work London City Mission does (please read the paragraph below).
===================================
From LCM:
In London, more than 150 people sleeping rough will die this year, at an average age of just 44. This is tragic. But we can do something about it.
Can you help me raise vital funds to help rough sleepers in London get the practical help they need and hear about Jesus?
The funds you raise will help provide guests at our Webber Street day centre in Waterloo with hot breakfasts, warm clean clothes, help with finding accommodation and a chance to hear the good news of Jesus, shared with them lovingly and sensitively.

Back to me:
So instead of empathising with those who sleep rough in East London by sleeping outside, I’ll be empathising with them in staying up all night and looking after them in a medical way, donating the money I earned from the shift to this cause.
Please support me if you can and if you believe in this work. Thanks so much for your support!
God bless,
Daniel
