We are walking the West Higland Way in May in memory of David Scott, a wonderful father to Danny and Charlie and husband to Jo. He died in the Critical Care Unit at the Royal Cornwall Hospital in September 2025. David was a proud Scotsman, our holidays were spent hill walking in Scotland. David suffered from Primary Sclerosing Collingitis but even after his 2nd liver transplant he continued to hike up Munroes in the Highlands. When he fell ill again David received marvellous, dedicated care in the Critical Care Unit. The nurses and doctors were incredibly skillful. But we would love to raise funds to support the unit, especially with equipment that makes it more comfortable, and makes recovery more likely, for patients who are intubated.
