Paris Marathon 2025 · 13 April 2025 ·

Experience running through the ‘city of love’ to help stand with us for a cure for dementia.

Story

I have decided to run my first marathon in support of my (future) brother-in-law, George Sotiri, who tragically lost his father to Alzheimer's at just 65. In his honour, George has created Alzheimer's Heroes, an important awareness campaign and support network for families and individuals affected by this cruel illness.

George has taken on an incredible feat of running 6 marathons in 6 countries in 12 months. I am joining George and the team for Paris (5/6). As two big lads, running doesn't come naturally to us and our knees are not thankful. Fortunately George is an osteopath so he has just about kept me fit for the big day!

I would be extremely grateful for any donations and look forward to crossing the finish line in one piece. (100% of donations go to the charity).
