Earlier this year, our daughter Daisy required specialist surgery at Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

Whilst Daisy’s surgery was an elective, non urgent, simple procedure, walking through the doors of GOSH with a child in tow is not an experience i would wish on any parent, under any circumstance.

That being said, the team at GOSH were absolutely outstanding. From the anaesthetists, the nurses and play workers to the surgeons, customer care team and family accomodation staff - we couldn’t have asked for a more supportive, positive and experienced team around us.

We are extremely lucky that Daisy is, and always has been, a happy and healthy little girl. But not every family has such luck. And that is why GOSH is so important.
