So I’ve decided that it would be a good idea to cycle 300k in June to support a local small cat rescue center. What a lovely idea you are all thinking….the only issue is I have not been on a bicycle since I was 17!! Yes I do the static bike at the gym, but I’ve been told that’s very different to riding outside in real life. I don’t even have my own bike, helmet or those awful padded butt Lycra shorts & will be borrowing all of the above from friends (not sure they’ll want the shorts back after my sweaty butt has been in them) but I will be out in the open & on two wheels!

Why am I doing this? Because cats are little purry angels sent down to us that bring a sprinkling of fur confetti & happiness into our lives & no cat should go unloved without a home. Also I wanted a reason to improve my fitness & what better way to do that than feel guilt tripped into exercise for the love of cats 😹
