This September, I’ll be taking part in the Great North Run to raise vital funds for St Cuthbert’s Hospice in Durham.

I am running in memory of my mam, Karen Parkinson, who spent her final few weeks at the hospice back in 2021 after a short, sudden battle with cancer. The staff were all amazing, providing so much support to our family when we needed it most.
