Story
I’m part of a team fundraising to help seven Scouts attend the World Scout Jamboree — an international event that brings young people together from across the world to learn, challenge themselves, and build lifelong friendships.
As part of my own commitment to this effort, I’ll be delivering a series of Master at Arms courses across eight weekends. Every course I run is a way of directly supporting the fundraising, and a way of giving my own time and energy to help make this opportunity possible.
William and Oliver are two of the seven Scouts we’re supporting, and like the rest of the group they’ve earned this opportunity through Scouting. The cost of attending the Jamboree is significant, and as a team we’re working hard to make sure finances don’t become a barrier for any of them.
Every donation supports all seven Scouts equally and helps turn effort — both theirs and ours — into a once-in-a-lifetime experience.
