50 mile cycle ride · 9 March 2024

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting my page.

I live in the wonderful village of Oxhill In Warwickshire. A friend in the village, Elaine Morgan, lost her daughter Karen Osborne to Ovarian Cancer at the age of 31. Karen would have been 50 on the 8th March this year. In her memory, Elaine decided to cycle a BIG 50, to bring awareness and raise funds to fight this dreadful disease that took Karen at such an early age.

When villagers became aware of what Elaine was going to do, many like me have said that they want to take on the challenge and cycle with her.

Elaine and the rest of the team want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who is supporting us. Wish us luck!
