The BIG 50 for Karen O

Raising money for Ovarian Cancer Action

We are the UK’s leading ovarian cancer research charity. In the UK only 1 in 3 women live more than 10 years after diagnosis. We are working to better prevent, treat and detect ovarian cancer, so that by 2032 at least half of women with ovarian cancer live for 10 years.

Story

Thank you so much for visiting our page.

My name is Elaine Morgan, I lost my daughter Karen Osborne to Ovarian Cancer at the age of 31. Karen would’ve been 50 on the 8th of March this year. In memory of my darling Karen, I want to cycle a BIG 50, to bring awareness and raise funds to fight this dreadful disease that took Karen from us.

I live in the absolutely wonderful village of Oxhill In Warwickshire. When villagers became aware of what I was going to do, they too have said that they want to take on the challenge and cycle with me.

I am overwhelmed by peoples response and their generosity. I want to say a BIG THANK YOU to everyone who has supported us. Wish us luck!
